Navihood is a product that bears the hope of our new high-end bike computer. Once it was released at The China Cycle Show in May and The Eurobike Show in June, it all received great feedback. The new series of bike computers represents our pursuit of high-end performance. The Navihood series includes our GPS navigation bike computers, sensors, and a full range of smart bike rear lights. Each product is all integrated into the hard work of our research and development team for so many years from design to function to use! Our flagship L1 GPS navigation and training cycling computer; we have conducted a lot of tests and upgrades in terms of hardware and software, and strive to make it a truly powerful and innovative GPS smart bike computer. 

1.  In the design of this hardware, in addition to maintaining the core design of the appearance of the 2.6-inch high-definition large screen, we creatively improved and made the base into a high-hardness aluminum alloy base according to the common pain points in the market, so as to solve the problem of the base Broken problem forever.

For the signal and satellite search, in order to truly achieve a strong signal bike computer, we use a large square antenna design to ensure rapid positioning within 10 seconds of outdoor hot start! At present, this extremely fast-positioning bike computer that we test is far ahead of most of the ones on the market.                                           

The battery life has always been the pain point of stopwatch products; basically, most of the computers in the market are seriously fake; in order to completely improve the battery life, we have gone through a lot of tests and comparisons and in-depth discussions with our suppliers, we lastly used an unprecedented 1700MAH super-large capacity battery, the longest use time reached 25 hours in the extreme state; if all functions of navigation/backlight are turned on, it can still reach about 18-20 hours of use time! We believe that L1 will be the truly domestically produced bike computer with the longest battery life, not one of them. It is also longer than most leading brands in the cycling industry.

In today's industry, the Type-C interface has become the standard input for electronic products. We make it with a TYPE-C jack as well. At the same time, we make our GPS Bike Computer waterproof at IPX6 high grade, which works fine under most daily circumstances. 

2. Innovative Functionality                                                   Competitors of domestic bike meters are increasingly turning the device into a simple toy with similar functions and a lack of creativity. We have been thinking about how to make a truly practical and powerful bike computer. We have made a lot of innovations for this with many first creations. First of all, we use the password protection function of the APP on the GPS computer for the first time, so that even if someone steals your computer, it is just a brick.

In terms of navigation, we have been cooperating with European map providers and professional bicycle navigation experts; in order to maximize the effect of actual navigation, we have tested a large number of road conditions and greatly optimized the algorithm in two years to ensure that the offline navigation is far ahead of the opponent; at the same time, it is guaranteed that it can still indicate and identify accurately, especially in areas with complex road conditions, such as a roundabout, steep mountain roads, etc. We have done a lot of work on both hardware and software to ensure the best experience.

Except that we have made a lot of optimizations in training and competitions, we have always insisted on our own characteristics of our Meilan product line, and we have been introducing our thoughts on cycling and secure connections to the market. We use Bluetooth to establish a connection and signal automatic synchronization between the light and the GPS computer to maximize the safety of riding at night.

We especially added a large amount of power training data on the new L1 to better support and help the needs and preferences of power training cycling enthusiasts. On the training part, we also make many interesting functions in our L1 model.  Heart Rate Alert is one basic function. We have a virtual rival. We add the drinking water function as default so it will help cyclists to keep alert on their water addition.

3. Meilan APP - intuitive & easy to use  Compared with cycling apps and sports apps on the market, we have been pursuing to create a powerful app with MEILAN characteristics, which is simple in appearance, easy to use, and powerful in function.

All of our APP functions are free and powerful at the same time, we have added a community function so that all MEILAN users can easily share their fun! The free 3D animation demo has always been one of the interesting features of our APP. So our users can check their cycling activity much more intuitively with Meilan brand bike computers. We do a big job on the route track here and now it is very good and accurate to assure your best user feeling with our Meilan APP. 

Powerful sharing function. In order to meet the needs of different users, we have widely synchronized to STRAVA KOMOOT, TRAINING PEAKS, GOOGLE FIT, APPLE HEALTH, and other platforms; a large number of other platforms are being tested and communicated, and we will continue to work hard to let users use MEILAN and feel the power of sharing convenience and fun.  

Last, but not least, our L1 supports huge distance storage up to 3500KM, so it has no pressure for your long-distance riding for more than 20 hours! Always it can support one full competition range of Tour De France! Never worry about your bike's computer storage. As to make it good enough, we also make a big job on the data transmission between hardware and our app. We use all with BLE5.0 Protocol today to assure its fast speed. If your distance is much bigger up to 500KM and more, we also suggest that you can use the DATA cable to transfer to the PC and then to the APP. Anyway, we know the data is very important for our users. We assure you your best feeling with our Meilan device in our competence any time and anywhere. 

During the Shanghai exhibition in May, we specially invited friends, media, and other industry professionals to participate in the release press of our Navihood series bike computers and sensors, and received very good results; in the 2023 European exhibition, we continued to work hard and bring our The new NAVIHOOD series to a wider range of European consumers and users!
